I interpret a room I visited a few years after the death of a person, which has remained unchanged since their passing, except for occasional dusting and window cleaning. Objects that I know well and remember have become strange and alien, as if they’ve become wild. In the series of images, I examine this phenomenon and try to capture the state in which we feel that everything is different, even though it looks the same as before.

Interpretuję malarsko odwiedzony po kilku latach pokój zmarłej osoby, który od czasu jej śmierci pozostał niezmieniony, pomijając okazjonalne ścieranie kurzu i mycie okien. Przedmioty, które dobrze znam i pamiętam stały się dziwne i obce, zdziczały. W cyklu obrazów przyglądam się temu zjawisku i staram się oddać stan, w którym czujemy, że wszystko jest inne, mimo że wygląda jak kiedyś.
