In 2022, I returned to a series of graphics that I started in 2017 during a plenary session in Ukraine. The atmosphere of anxiety and escalating conflict that I felt then was intense. After returning, I created a series of graphics deconstructing the idyllic, peaceful landscape with elements associated with the war machine.

In 2022, the proportions changed drastically, which forced the inversion. Shelters and basements are no longer a distant specter of war, they have become a reality.

W 2022 roku wróciłam do cyklu grafik, który rozpoczęłam w 2017 roku podczas pleneru na Ukrainie. Atmosfera niepokoju i narastającego konfliktu, którą wtedy odczuwałem, była intensywna. Po powrocie stworzyłem serię grafik dekonstruujących idylliczny, spokojny pejzaż elementami kojarzącymi się z machiną wojenną.

W 2022 roku proporcje uległy drastycznej zmianie, co wymusiło konieczność inwersji. Schrony i piwnice nie są już dalekim widmem wojny, stały się rzeczywistością.
